Poject Details
Designed for a young family, this addition added much needed space to an attractive neighborhood bungalow. The addition is pulled to the rear of the property to preserve the scale of the neighborhood and reaches upward two stories to capture the views. Materials were kept simple and inexpensive; durable galvanized metal serves as an accent. Rather than incorporating expensive built-ins, niches were created and later filled with pieces of the owner’s furniture. Casual in appearance, the house suits the family’s lifestyle.
