Poject Details
This urban villa is shaped by the clients’ twin passions: civic life and art collecting. At the owners’ request, its monumental scale and form are contemporary yet influenced by Italian Renaissance villas. The integrated display of the owners’ extensive collection of modern art, primarily the work of Northwest artists, is central to the interior design. The main floor is conceived as civic space, containing the open living room and kitchen/dining room, both of which are gallery-like spaces designed to comfortably accommodate art and entertaining.
