Poject Details
This project saw the complete remodel of an existing condominium in a downtown Seattle high-rise building. Though the entire unit saw new finishes and a reworking of the floor plan, the primary focus was the creation of a new home office. The challenge was deciding how to carve out space for an office without diminishing the apartment’s apparent roominess. The solution was to create a space adjacent to the living room that was separated by a highly detailed steel and cast-glass screen. The screen, open during the day, allows views through the apartment to the skyline. At night, when the screen is closed, a luminous glow elegantly washes the living room.
