Poject Details

The clients wanted an inexpensive, contemporary house for their retirement that fit into the character of a waterfront site. The primary living space is kept high to take advantage of the views. The main floor provides all necessary living areas—kitchen, dining room, master bedroom and bath—and is intended to accommodate the owners’ needs should mobility become an issue. The design acknowledges the additive nature of neighboring houses by treating its various architectural elements as components that could have been assembled over time.
