Operatic drama is created by small and large volumes and axial views to Puget Sound. The heart of this home is a two-story central gallery space that expands from a narrow entry area to a large living room, and a 19-foot-high window wall that embraces the view and collects sunlight—a precious commodity in the Northwest. A bridge over the gallery links the stair enclosure to the top-level loft that houses the master bedroom suite.
