This family vacation house sits in a wooded acreage near Lake Sequoyah in rural North Carolina. Capturing the playful feeling of a tree house, the structure is raised up off the ground enhancing views and reducing the flood potential. Building upon a steel structure, the house will use local slate, horizontal wood siding and a metal roof to create an informal retreat.
