Poject Details

Best described as a box of light, this 9,000-square-foot rooftop addition houses all of the student activities administration offices on campus. Made of industrial steel, its interior spaces are enclosed beneath a curved ceiling and south-facing clerestory windows, which are designed to maximize the quantity and quality of natural light reaching the offices and assembly rooms below. Differing exterior metal skins correspond to the unique functional areas inside. Nineteen different user groups were consulted during the highly interactive design process.
