Set on the beach in the Arabian Gulf, this villa is a meeting of land, water and sky. Spreading out over the site, the building will seem timeless in its stability, constructed with materials that echo the desert setting. Wind towers and a soaring roofline bring both light and cooling breezes into the house. And a reflecting pool fulfills both an aesthetic goal – creating a metaphorical connection to the ocean – as well as a cooling one. Sustainable practices are found throughout the complex, which will satisfy not only the family’s day-to-day needs, but also serve as a space for business and entertaining.
