Poject Details

Currently under construction, this single-family residence outside of Washington D.C. is influenced by the stately urban fabric of the city. Materials like copper, limestone and cedar echo the timelessness and enduring nature of nearby national monuments. A solid stone base anchors the building to the site, while a curved roof appears to float weightlessly above it. Dark stone and an unassuming front to the building allow this modern house to fit gracefully into a traditional neighborhood.
